Hi, my name is Marcus Alexander I'm the co-founder and basketball director of Philly Love Youth Sports I've been coaching youth sports for over 6 years starting out coaching football with the Leprechauns in 2008 before moving over to the Inner City Chiefs in 2013 although I love coaching football; I found that the love for coaching basketball was greater and thus I chose to stay with basketball and continued to coach with the Port Richmond Tigers.

Many of our children do not have a place to play after the rec season alot of children within our community do not have the financial resources to be able to pay the cost associated with playing competitive level basketball. Last year a few parents, my wife and I covered the expenses for our 10th grade boys team to play in their first AAU Tournament. They played very well coming out as champions by winning the tournament round unfortunately we were unable to go to the final round of champions to play against other tournament round winners because we couldn't come up with the neccessary funds to cover the trip. This year we have FAITH that we will be able to provide this team with an even better experience. With your donation you will be helping to provide a fun and educational experience for many children.
I would like to take this time to thank AFSCME Local 1637 District Council 33 for our initial donation to start off our Rally Fundraiser. Thanks to the Port Richmond Tigers for the continued support
