Welcome to the FMLA RallyMe Campaign!
While lacrosse is one of the fastest growing youth sports in Texas, it is not yet a UIL sport, so we do not have access to most of the sporting venues as other UIL recognized sports. We have every expectation that lacrosse will one day be recognized in Texas as a UIL sport, but until then, we have to depend on the generosity of our neighbors, family, friends, and local businesses to help fund our organization. We depend on you, our community, for fields, lights, and equipment to be able to hold practices and games to successfully compete with other lacrosse programs. This type of funding is vital to the continuation of this sport in this community.
Why We're Raising Funds
The FMLA Board, Coaches, Team Managers, and Volunteers work hard to try and make sure teams have the proper facilities and equipment for practices and games, but fields (especially lighted ones) are expensive and often hard to come by - we are making progress to get what we need on a more regular basis, but continue to run into financial obstacles preventing us from providing consistent access to adequate facilities. Any funds this campaign raises will help ensure that we secure the best environment for the players to practice and compete.
About Flower Mound Lacrosse
Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is a community based lacrosse program that is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity and non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a safe, disciplined, respectful, and team-oriented program where boys (1st - 12th grade) and girls (3rd - 12th grade) can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop skills to be competitive in the game, as well as build the essential characteristics of good sportsmanship along with strong character.
Join Our Team and Spread the Word!
Here’s the kicker - for every $50 each player raises, their name goes into a raffle to win a Warrior WARP lacrosse head (boys) and Brine Dynasty lacrosse stick (girls) donated to this campaign by FMLA sponsor Lax Kong in Plano, Texas! And for every $50 each doner gives, their name goes into a raffle to win a Kendra Scott necklace and earrings set donated by Kendra Scott, LLC!
Keep in mind each contribution has a direct impact on our efforts to increase participation by growing the sport of lacrosse as well as providing a program that enriches youth girls and boys within the community!
And remember, your donation is tax deductible!
Thank you for your time and consideration, and please share our Rally via the email and social media share buttons!
