GAMECHANGERS COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY
GameChangers - a program of Wheelhouse Academy, a non-profit in Richmond, California - is a Player Development program created to help student athletes play baseball in high school, college and at the professional level. We are the only local Player Development program designed to advance your child's baseball skills to their fullest potential, and we take particular pride in making these opportunities available to children from diverse backgrounds.
Our organization is a non-profit, so to function well while staying as accessible and affordable as possible, we need to raise funds to support our programs. We are asking our players to think outside themselves, give back to their communities and support those in need. We would like to reward good and productive behavior instead of asking you to buy candy bars or popcorn. We are expecting our players to dedicate 3 hours worth of community service by the beginning of April, and we hope supporters will reqard their effort by donating an hourly wage for that volunteer work. ($10/hour = a $30 donation)
Food Banks, environmental clean up, feeding the homeless, senior center volunteer work are all places where our players will be giving back. Please support their productive behavior by donating today!
