Dear Prospective Sponsor,
The Cleveland Barons Elite Development Program was established in 1993 and offers youth ice hockey teams at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, ages 8 to 18. Since its establishment, The Cleveland Barons Elite Development Program has become the largest youth ice hockey program in Northeast Ohio and has developed some of the top hockey talent in the country with over 175 NCAA Division I Alumni and 21 NHL Draft Picks.
Despite our accomplishments, ice hockey is a very expensive sport; the team and program are funded solely by the parents of the players, which make funding extras difficult. Subsequently, each player is required to pay upwards of $4,000 in assessments per season just to play the sport they love.
Are you asking yourself what you can do? This is where YOU can help make a difference. A charitable donation or sponsorship on your part, which is entirely tax-deductible due to the program’s status as a non-profit organization, will have an immeasurable impact on our players as well as their parents, allowing them to focus on playing hockey instead of paying for it. Donations will be used to help offset operational costs (such as ice time, which is $250/hour), travel costs and equipment costs (jerseys, socks, training suits, etc.).
In return for your generous donation, you will have access to a wide array of benefits including advertising opportunities and social media visibility. For more information about how we can tailor your sponsorship to meet your needs, please contact our Team Manager, Lindsey Krauth at 2008ClevelandHockey@gmail.com.
Now that you have had a chance to learn a little more about our program, we hope you will join us in supporting the development of youth ice hockey players in Northeast Ohio.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
