Dear Ingraham Rams Friends, Families, Alumni,
The Ingraham HS Boys Basketball team is proud and pumped up about our program and our recent accomplishments on and off the court. As our team program has developed, we have achieved new levels of success. Our win/loss record only tells part of the story.
In the past two years we have won 2x as many games as we had in all of the six prior years! This year, our varsity team has qualified for playoffs and is seeded 4th in the SeaKing District Tourney. Our goal is to make it to the State Tournament for the first time in 43 years.
According to the Seattle Times article on 2-1-19
“...Ingraham is enjoying a basketball resurgence and has a chance to break a long (1975) drought of not making it to state.”
In 1969, Governor Jay Inslee and the Ingraham boys’ basketball team finished 23-0 and went on to win the state championship in a victory over Hoquiam.
We are inspired by our school history. As we work to build this program and develop our players, we do need support from our larger community. There are several expenses associated with developing a winning team which include: tournament fees, training, travel, equipment, uniforms and warm-ups.
We are excited about our athletic success, our academic success and our focus on developing a community of great young men!
Thank you for your support!
Coach Mack and the boys of Ingraham Basketball
