Welcome to Purgatory Ski Team Vehicle Capital Campaign
The mission of The Purgatory Ski Team (PST) is to enable local kids to do great things through the sport of skiing. Our club organization is a non-profit 501c3 chartered in beautiful Durango Colorado. Programs offered include Alpine, Freeride and Freestyle skiing disciplines.
Due to our location (Southwestern region of Colorado), our sport requires us to drive more than 6 hours to compete at various events in and out of our state. This logistical issue puts increased expense and time on parents to provide transportation, lodging, and food costs. Ultimately this can be the reason for some Athletes not to participate in these events.
Why We Are Raising Funds
We are raising funds to purchase a PST Team Vehicle to provide safe transportation to out of area events and competitions. The vehicle will also be used as a shuttle for our weekend training venues to help offset parent shuttling and travel expenses.
How We Got Here
The PST has led a very successful program over the past few decades and has grown in numbers both Athletes and Coaches. Our community of Athletes are competing at higher levels each year. With the rising costs of travel and expenses, our goal is to provide access to out of area competitions at a reasonable rate, and to grow our team culture and experiences through traveling together.
