My name is Maggie Rose Carrigan and I am a competitive Alpine Snowboarder. I have been competing since the age of 7 starting in USASA and moving my way into the fast lane with boarder-cross and alpine snowboarding. I then had back surgery at age 11 due to scoliosis which is a curvature to the spine. I recieved two 14inch medal rods that have straightened out my back.I then got back on snow and started to get on an alpine snowboard.
From there I started competing in FIS at age 15 and then gained a World Cup spot at 16. I am now 19, taking a gap year from college and have decided to go over to Europe this season and do Europa Cups and some World Cups. I am raising funds for travel expenses (gas, plane tickets, hotels), training, lift tickets and equiptment. I would like to thank my family most of all for supporting my dreams and goals and I thank you for donating and being a fan! Please share with friends, family and others, it is greatly appreciated!
