Thank you for your interest in the Wilson High School (WHS) girls soccer program! My name is Coach Romo and I have the privilege of coaching the varsity team and oversee the development of both varsity and junior varsity squads. We need your support in raising funds for registration in an AYSO league for 15 players from our varsity team. The league starts in August and ends in October, right before the official high school CIF season begins. Playing in this fall league will prepare the girls for competitive play in the upcoming winter season. Not only will it develop their fitness and technical skills, it will also build cohesion; a key ingredient to any successful and healthy team. 

The WHS girls teams operate on a very small budget and depend on donations from folks like yourself who believe in soccer as a powerful way for young people to develop in healthy ways. Many teams in our league have developed year 'round programs for their girls teams, raising their level of performance in league play. Our WHS girls soccer teams lack many of the fundamental skills required at the high school level and participation in a pre season league like AYSO will support their development, confidence and preparation.
