If you didn't know it by now, I am back to coaching volleyball with Aggie Elite Volleyball in College Station. Having been involved with coaching club volleyball in the Brazos Valley Area for over 30 years as a director, a coach, an official (including 8 years NCAA), and a member of the Lone Star Region Board of Directors, I can tell you that I've seen several clubs - large and small - over the years. That being said, I can tell you that the focus of the AEV program is the development of the player. We, as coaches, have a responsibility to help the player development the skills that will make them better. We fun part is that we get to use this awesome sport of volleyball to do that. True coaches know that the way we provide the training of the athlete in volleyball can and will also teach life lessons and improve the skills of the person in life. THAT is the focus of Aggie Elite Volleyball and I couldn't be more proud of having the opportunity to do that.
By know you must be wondering why I'm contacting you. Well, we have an opportunity here to help area youth continue in the endeavors of the Aggie Elite Volleyball program. To fully and properly proivide the training necessary for the AEV participants it takes resources that, unfortunately, can be quite costly. Of course, the players (Well...the parents do, of course.) all pay for their individual equipment, uniforms and travel expenses. However, the club also needs resources to help provide training equipment, technology and supporting resources necessary to provide the best training environment possible. This note is to let you know of an opportunity that you have to help us. My team (AEV 18 Asics) is participating in a Serve-A-Thon to raise money that will go towards providing the best training environment possible.
Below, you will find additional information on our Serve-A-Thon fund-raising rally. I ask that you consider participating in our fund-raising rally by sponsoring one of my players or simply donate by clicking on the button on the right. If you need additional information, please conatct me and I will quickly get you on-board. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or text me at 979-777-6322. I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your support.
Welcome To My "Serve-A-Thon" Rally Campaign
Howdy and welcome to Aggie Elite Volleyball. AEV began in 2016 with the mission to develop and grow each player in the sport of volleyball and in life. Our goal is to encourage athletes to aspire to the level of skill and competition that they are fully capable of reaching. We will help them reach their goals by inspiring them to develop great work ethic, team work and a competitive spirit.
One year ago, we started with 40 3rd-6th graders in our first Power Volleyball Training League. We have grown to 11 USAV club teams in the 11's-18's age group, performance training clinics, community outreach programs and youth development programs.
My Serve-A-Thon will take place in month of February. I will serve 100 balls throughout the month during my practices. My Coach will record how many successful serves I complete during each session. At the end of the month I will get my results. As a sponsor, you can choose to help me by donating a flat rate or on a per serve basis. You can donate by clicking on the donate button above. Either way, when I complete my serves I will let everyone know how I do.
Why I'm Raising Funds For My Club Team
In order to continue to grow Aggie Elite Volleyball across all areas it is imperative that we raise funds. All funds raised will help us invest in top of the line equipment, technology and training for our players and coaches. We are also continuing to develop our community outreach by providing free training clinics to the kids and coaches of the Brazos Valley. AEV is in the process of working to grow into our own facility. With this awesome expansion also brings the great expense of outfitting this space with the necessary equipment.
