Welcome to Great Day 4 Baseball Tigers

     It is with great pleasure that we introduce you all to our program.  Great Day 4 Baseball (GD4B) was born out of the vision of the founder, Coach Thomas Lonon, Jr. (T.J.) as a vehicle to reach, teach and impact the lives of young men through a love of baseball. Coach Lonon is a former South Effingham standout baseball player who subsequently went on to play for Savannah State University.  His love for the game of baseball developed through mentoring teaching and nurturing from his father and other great coaches who also loved the game.  Coach Lonon and his coaching teammates devote countless hours to the program, assuring that the players possess a high skill level and are fundamentally sound.  More importantly, Great Day 4 Baseball strives to produce young men of character.

     This program is a breath of fresh air for the young men in our communities. Not only are they afforded the opportunity to grow and develop into high caliber baseball players; they are also being trained in lessons of life.  So many of the lessons that are taught on the field carry over into their actual lives.  We, at Great Day 4 Baseball, are grateful that the lessons, (especially good decision making,) that we impart to our players are modeled into their everyday lives at home, school, and other extracurricular activities.

   Here is where you can help us help our community....We are seeking sponsors for our program.  Sponsorships would provide funding for underprivileged children who otherwise would not be able to afford the fees associated with the sport, i.e; uniforms, travel, and equipment.  Every dime of sponsorship is poured directly into our program and benefit our players. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for our program.   We are truly grateful for your consideration of Great Day 4 Baseball; we look forward to sharing in all the success stories of our players with you.

    Levels of Sponsorship: 

   Platinum: A platinum sponsorship is accomplished by a donation of $1, 500+ to the program.   As stated above, EVERY dime of the sponsorships is poured back into the program for the benefit of the players.  You will receive a personal thank you card signed by each coach and player in the program, a Great Day 4 Baseball T-Shirt and a plaque in appreciation of your support.

   Gold: A gold sponsorship is accomplished by a donation of $1,000- $1,499.99 to the program  You will receive a personal thank you card signed by each coach and player in the program, a Great Day 4 Baseball T-Shirt and certification in appreciation of your support.

   Silver:  Silver sponsorship is met by a donation of $500.00-$999.99 to the program.  You will receive a thank you card signed by each coach and player in the program and a Great Day 4 Baseball T-Shirt.

   Bronze:  Bronze membership is any donation up to $499.99 to the program.  You will receive a Great Day 4 Baseball T-Shirt.

Player Sponsorships

   In the event that you would prefer to sponsor a player, you can make a donation payable to Great Day 4 Baseball that would be offset by an individual player's fees/cost. If you wish to specify a player, please let us know.
