My name is Ethan Davis and I am a rising junior at Evergreen High School. I have spent most of my school years in California. I began wrestling in the 5th grade for my middle school team. My parents and I relocated to Colorado second semester of my sophomore year of high school. I was very upset about our move and I protested. However, wrestling provided a segway for me to ease my transition at the new school.

Joining the wrestling team upon my arrival to Evergreen surrounded me with a new group of friends and kindred spirits. Wrestlers all share similarities where ever you may go. You enter a practice room with your teammates and all of you work your tail ends off to achieve a goal of winning. When you step on a mat you have to give your best and leave it all on the mat. Wrestling is great sport that teaches endurance, self awareness, perseverance and humility. It grows young men and women into phyiscally and mentally strong young adults.

Our team at Evergreen is growing. Our program looks to expand with an addition of 20 athletes for next season. This will require that we move to a larger room. We have been given the opportunity by the school to move into a room that will double our current training room. But we need your help in this expansion to provide new equipment; wrestling mats for the floor, padding for the cement walls and pillars, pull-up bars and bikes to aid in the conditioning, and new uniforms.

Growing Fast! Cougar Wrestling is experiencing rapid growth! In just 2 years Coach Luke has doubled the size of the program to 25+ earnest wrestlers.In addition to these committed young men,  20+ incoming freshman have signed up with great interest in our program. Cougar Wrestling is on the move!

Equipment is required to support our Cougar Wrestlers! The student athletes of Cougar Wrestling take pride in the rigorous workouts and technical training that Coach Luke and the assistant coaches provide. This training developes the strength, speed, balance, technique and mental toughness required to compete in the most demanding of sports.* A Training Room requires: Wrestling Mats, Benches, Wall Padding, Pull-up Bars, Peg Boards, and other miscellanous conditioning equipment to support these young athletes in their endevour.

Your Donations will support the Development of Long Lasting Skills/Attitudes: Your donation will provide the platform for current and future Cougar Wrestlers to train through the purchase of training room equipment.
